9b93805ef6 [WIP] Starter/Template scale/smear/bkgd color options 
Now possible to set scaling and smearing options for
each starter or template image.  A ".dat" file can be
created which describes whether it's okay to scale and crop
the image's top/bottom and/or left/right, and if not both,
whether to smear the sides of the starter/template to the
edges of the canvas (the prior behavior, and the default),
or use a specific solid color background.

 + Document
 + Remove debugging printf()s (change to DEBUG_PRINTF()?)
 + Add files for starters & templates that ship with Tux Paint

db09aacf4b Elefant, fish-icon and frame_hearts SVGs touched the edges and got ugly strips at some Tux Paint's window sizes. Remade them in inkscape and put a margin of 3 units on each side. 2020-10-22 03:14:26 +02:00

3ede0b96bf Starter SVG re-save 
Working around "...convert-im6.q16: too many bezier coordinates" by
updating SVGs of Starter images that were error'ing when creating
a thumbnail.  Mostly, just loaded into Inkscape 1.0 & saving back out.
For a few, tightened up some places where Fill tool would spill over.

41847ae4af FIXME note in Makefile: starter/template thumbs... 
The thumbnails for starters & templates are NOT being re-generated
when the source images are modified -- only when the thumbnail is
missing.  Needs an update to the target's prerequisites
(but I'm very rusty with this level of Makefile magic).

Also, update some Starter source images so they work better with
flood fill (Bald Eagle, World map, Gecko).

21ea42f38f Attempting to debug/fix SDL_Pango stuff. 
Added icon for Kalidescope magic tool.
Added Canada map starter.
Added Japan map starter.
Improved comments near gettext() calls to improve POT and PO files.
Regenerated PO files and POT file.
Added .cvsignore to make sure tp_magic_api.h (which is generated) isn't noticed.

bccb269062 New starters: 10x10 grid & 20x20 grid 
Reordered font-loading to happen after locale switch occurs, to
pick up font-organizing string translations (e.g., "Aa", "qx", etc.).
Attempting to help address issue of Latin-only fonts being available
in non-Latin locales -- seemed to help with Norwegian.
Czech translation update.
