Karl Ove Hufthammer 85aa989fee Ripped out remaining I18N/UTF-8 stuff that a) didn't work, or b) didn't make any sense (or both!). 
Writing non-ASCII characters using the text tool doesn't work. (But it didn't before this update either.)
